GIS The International School of Lugano is at Via Senago in Pazzallo, about twelve minutes by public transport from central Lugano. It opened in 2025 and is a bilingual day school teaching in English and Italian from preschool through the secondary years. It is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Middle Years Programmes, working towards IB World School authorisation, and it also follows the cantonal education standards of Ticino. The school belongs to the Group of International Schools, whose other schools are in Monza, opened in 2020, and Sao Paulo, opened in 2019.
