Istituto Sant'Anna is a private school at Via Nassa in central Lugano, part of Gruppo Sant'Anna. The group also runs Istituto Santa Caterina in Locarno and the Scuola La Commerciale in Bellinzona, Lugano and Locarno. Teaching runs from elementary school through to the Matura, taking in middle school, a gymnasium track, commercial training, a tenth school year and summer courses. In July 2026 the group recorded 80 students obtaining a leaving certificate or diploma. From September 2026 it says it will be the first and only accredited private school in Ticino to offer a German-language education.
