International School Basel is a not-for-profit, co-educational day school teaching in English across three campuses: Aesch for ages 3 to 11, Fiechten for 11 to 14 and Reinach for 14 to 19. Around 1,200 students attend, from more than 60 nationalities. The school runs all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma, and describes itself as the only not-for-profit, English-language, three-programme IB World School in the region. An English-German bilingual strand runs in the junior school. In the 2024 IB Diploma examinations its pass rate was 98 per cent, against a world average of 80 per cent.
