The International School of Lausanne is a not-for-profit day school in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, for students aged 3 to 18. Founded in 1962, it teaches 845 students from 70 nationalities, with 135 teachers. The school runs the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum: Early Childhood from age 3, the Primary Years Programme from 5, the Middle Years Programme from 11 and the Diploma Programme from 16. The school says it is the only IB World School in the Lausanne area to offer all three. A bilingual programme is available in the primary years, and students in the final years may take a High School Diploma alongside the IB Diploma. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and NEASC.
