About the School
The Inter-Community School Zurich is a day school at Strubenacher in Zumikon, on the Zürichberg, and has been running for 65 years. It takes children from 24 months to 18 years, from nursery to Grade 12, and teaches around 800 students in total. It is authorised for all three International Baccalaureate programmes — Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma — and says it is the only school in Zurich to hold all three. More than 50 nationalities are represented and 72 languages are spoken across the school. The average IB Diploma score is 34.5, and 34 per cent of students take the IB bilingual diploma. English as an Additional Language and learning support are available. The school is accredited by the IBO and NEASC and belongs to Round Square.
