About the School
Inter-Community School Zurich is a private, not-for-profit international day school in Zumikon, serving families across the Greater Zurich Area. Founded in 1960, ICS is the oldest international school in the region and offers English-language education from early childhood through to age 18. Its clearest academic differentiator is the full International Baccalaureate continuum: the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme, with students also able to pursue a bilingual IB Diploma. The school places strong emphasis on inquiry, personal responsibility, community engagement, and international-mindedness within a supportive, values-led environment. Families often choose ICS Zurich for its established IB pathway, single-campus community, university preparation, and balance between academic expectations and student wellbeing.
Located in the beautiful Zumikon, Zurich, Inter-Community School Zurich has been providing exceptional education since 1960. With a student body of 900+ students from around the world, the school offers a truly international learning environment with instruction in English.
