About the School
The International School of Zug and Luzern is a day school in central Switzerland, teaching around 1,200 students aged 3 to 18 from 60 countries. It runs two main campuses, Zug at Walterswil in Baar for Early Years to Grade 8, and Riverside in Hünenberg for Grades 9 to 12, plus Chalet Bergheim in Wengen, used as an outdoor education centre. The school traces back to a tutoring group formed in the late 1950s for 14 English-speaking children, and took its present shape in 2008 when the International School of Zug, the International School of Luzern and Riverside School merged. Students follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programmes, with Advanced Placement courses also offered.
