The Gymnasium Immensee is at Bethlehemweg in Immensee, on Lake Zug, and holds a public service mandate as a Maturitätsschule. It teaches 315 students, of whom 20 use the five-to-three-day residential programme, so it works as a day school with a boarding option rather than a full boarding school. The Matura it awards gives access to Swiss and international universities. Its teaching approach includes self-organised learning, extended lesson blocks, epoch-based teaching, bilingual immersion and independent study programmes.
