The Stiftsschule Einsiedeln is a gymnasium inside the Benedictine abbey at Einsiedeln, in canton Schwyz. It sets itself in a Benedictine educational tradition the community describes as more than a thousand years old, and runs as a day school with a boarding house attached. Two routes are available, the long-track and the short-track gymnasium, both leading to the Swiss Matura. Music, sport and theatre run alongside the academic programme. The school sits within the monastery but operates as an institution in its own right.
