École Germaine de Staël is a private day school at Route Suisse in Etoy, on the shore of Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Nyon. Founded in 2009 in Aubonne, it teaches a continuous route from age four through to the maturité, so a child can complete the whole school career on one site, and around 120 pupils attend. Its pedagogy is built specifically for high-potential children and for pupils with atypical profiles, working from their sensitivity and their appetite for learning. Pupils specialise along scientific, literary or artistic lines, take on research projects, and compete in eloquence, science and chess.
