About the School
Buissonnets Montani is a school at Rue de Saint-Guérin in Sion, in the Valais, formed from two older institutions. Les Buissonnets was founded in 1928 by the Sisters of the Holy Cross of Ingenbohl and the École Montani in 1965 by Gabriel Montani; together they represent close to a century and a half of history. Teaching covers the compulsory secondary years through the Grades 9 to 11 orientation cycle, then upper secondary, where students prepare either the Swiss Maturité or the French Baccalauréat, with a twelfth-year bridging option available. Both schools hold ISO 9001:2015 certification.
