French Baccalaureate
The French Baccalaureate (Baccalauréat) is the national French secondary school diploma. It provides access to French universities and is widely recognized internationally. Students choose from different tracks based on their interests and career goals. Pupils at a school homologated by the French Ministry of Education (AEFE network) sit it as school candidates, with continuous assessment counting towards the result; pupils at other schools sit it as individual candidates, taking every subject as a final exam.
