Ecole Anhugar is a private day school on Chemin du Joran in Nyon, for gifted children aged four to twenty. It takes students who are bored or failing in mainstream school, or who have been out of school through anxiety or school phobia, including those taught at home or in hospital. Many are twice-exceptional, combining high ability with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD or autism, and the school has built its teaching methods around them over fifteen years. It caps enrolment at 70. Teaching is in French, and students prepare for the Brevet des Collèges and the baccalauréat français, or for a return to the state gymnasium. It carries the Swiss School Impulse label and belongs to the Association Vaudoise des Écoles Privées.
