About the School
Institut Le Rosey is a private boarding school in Rolle, on Lake Geneva, taking students aged 8 to 18. It is fully residential: every student boards. The school year moves between two campuses, the main site at Château du Rosey and a winter campus in Gstaad used from January to March. Teaching is bilingual in English and French, and students prepare for either the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or the French baccalauréat. Around 400 students attend. Alongside the academic programme, Le Rosey runs an Arts, Sports, Services and Culture strand and delivers the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award; the campus includes the Rosey Concert Hall. Founded in 1880, the school is an IB World School and is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association.
