The Steinerschule Bern Ittigen Langnau works across three campuses, in Bern, Ittigen and Langnau. It takes children from a playgroup at two and a half years and a kindergarten for ages four to six, through lower, middle and upper primary levels, and on to an integrative middle school covering Classes 10 to 12. Mixed-age classes are used at some levels. The school states that its aim is holistic, individual and future-oriented development, integrating arts, crafts, nature and science. Day-school places, support programmes and meals are available.
