About the School
Nouvelle Ecole Farny is a private day school on Rue Samuel-Constant in Geneva, founded in 1925 by Alice Farny. It has kept to about sixty children a year since 1997, from kindergarten through to the eighth primary year, with small classes so teaching can be differentiated and each child followed individually. The programme follows the Plan d'études romand, with English and German taught from the youngest class and English carried towards the Cambridge examinations. A psychologist is available to pupils on request, and the week includes meditation and a daily silent reading period. Supervised care runs from a quarter to eight in the morning until six. Annual fees start at CHF 15,000. The school carries the Swiss School Impulse label and belongs to the Association Genevoise des Écoles Privées.
