About the School
École Brechbühl is a private day school on Rue Toepffer in Geneva's old town, taking children from age three to twelve. Marie Brechbühl founded it in 1875, and the school says it is the oldest private school in Geneva; it marked its 150th year in 2025. Around 170 children attend. Teaching is in French, with English taught from age three and German from age six, both in small groups. The site includes an outdoor playground. Fees run from CHF 920 to CHF 1,520 a month, payable over ten months, by term or annually. The school carries the Swiss School Impulse label and belongs to the Association Genevoise des Écoles Privées.
