My School Ticino is a bilingual day school in Castel San Pietro, in the Mendrisiotto region of Ticino. It covers the first ten years: a nursery from birth to three, a kindergarten from three to six and a primary school from six to ten. Teaching is bilingual in Italian and English. The approach draws on Montessori, on Reggio Children art workshops and on outdoor education. The school opens 49 weeks a year from 7:00 to 19:00, with before- and after-school care, weekly camps and a summer camp, and it runs its own kitchen certified by Fourchette Verte plus a daily shuttle. It is a project of the Medacta for Life Foundation.
