The Swedish International School of Geneva is at the Esplanade des Récréations in Meyrin, and has served Geneva for more than 50 years. It takes children from one to twelve, through a crèche for ages one to two, a pre-primary section from two and a half to four, and a primary school from four to twelve. Teaching runs in English, French and Swedish, and the curriculum follows the Swedish national framework with Montessori principles alongside it. Pupils sit the Geneva cantonal common assessments, the Évaluations Communes. The school is Generation Pep certified and also runs Swedish language courses, special-needs support, after-school care and holiday camps.
