Ecole Medica is a private paramedical school on Place Pépinet in central Lausanne, teaching for more than thirty-five years. It trains medical assistants to the federal vocational certificate and medical secretaries to the H+ qualification used across Swiss hospitals, and runs shorter courses in blood sampling and injections, in bandaging and in radiation protection. Classes are offered full time and part time, so students of sixteen sit alongside adults retraining. The school has absorbed the former École Minerva and now teaches under both names. It is certified by QSC and eduQua, teaches in French, and belongs to the Association Vaudoise des Écoles Privées.
