About the School
École Chantemerle has been founded and run by the Wegmüller family since 1966, and teaches across two sites, at Blonay above Vevey and near Lausanne. It takes students from 6 to 18, around 100 in total, of whom roughly 45 board and 55 attend by day. Two parallel pathways run: a Swiss route taught in French leading to the Matura and direct access to Swiss universities including EPFL and ETH Zurich, and a Cambridge International route taught in English leading to IGCSEs and A Levels. A French language integration programme supports students arriving without French. Boarding is offered on five-day, seven-day and flexible arrangements. The school is accredited by Cambridge International and belongs to FSEP and AVDEP.
