About the School
École LémanMaturité is a private upper-secondary day school on Rue de Fribourg in Vevey, founded by Yacine Guendouzi, an engineer trained at CentraleSupélec, and Yann Wegmüller, a biologist who directs the neighbouring École Chantemerle. It prepares two leaving qualifications, each over three years: the Swiss maturité, with specialised options in mathematics and physics, biology and chemistry, economics and law, visual arts or Russian; and the French baccalauréat, with specialisms including mathematics, physics and chemistry, computing, arts and languages. Classes average eight students, and the fifteen teaching staff hold doctorates or master's degrees. Boarding is arranged through École Chantemerle, daily transport included. The school belongs to the Association Vaudoise des Écoles Privées.
