The Privatschule Hofstatt is a publicly recognised private day school at Grundstrasse in Schwyz, founded in 1995. It runs a continuous route from the Early Birds group for the youngest children through the Basisstufe, the primary years in two combined stages, lower secondary and a tenth school year that leads into an apprenticeship. Children work in mixed-age groups, and the school builds its approach around Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication.
