About the School

La Garenne International School is a family-run boarding and day school in Villars, a ski resort in the Vaud Alps, for students aged 3 to 18. It was founded in 1947. Teaching runs through reception, primary and secondary years, and older students can take either the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or a High School Programme. Alongside the academic programme the school offers personalised learning support, intensive English and French courses, and university guidance. Its campus sits above Villars at Chemin des Chavasses, in Chesières.
