About the School
Collège Alpin Beau Soleil is a boarding school in Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps, for students aged 11 to 18. Around 300 students attend and almost all board full-time, living in six houses. Students follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme in Grades 6 to 10, then either the IB Diploma or an Advanced Studies Diploma in Grades 11 and 12. The school runs a winter sports programme covering skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing and ice climbing, an outdoor education programme, and more than 90 after-school activities. Students also take part in global expeditions and community service trips. Beau Soleil was founded in 1910 and belongs to the Nord Anglia Education group.
