About the School
Institut Montana Zugerberg is a day and boarding school on the Zugerberg, above Zug, for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Around 380 students attend, from 55 nationalities. Classes average ten students, with a 4:1 student-teacher ratio. The school runs four parallel tracks: a bilingual primary school for Grades 1 to 6, a bilingual secondary school for Grades 7 to 9, a Swiss Gymnasium leading to the Matura for Grades 7 to 12, and an International School for Grades 6 to 12. Boarding is available alongside day places. Founded in 1926, the school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and Cambridge, recognised by the canton of Zug, and a member of Swiss Learning.
