About the School
IMI is a hospitality management school at Seeacherweg in Kastanienbaum, on Lake Lucerne. It teaches a certificate in international hotel and tourism management, BA (Hons) degrees in hospitality business management, business management and culinary management, graduate diplomas in hospitality and culinary arts, and an MSc in international hospitality business management. All programmes are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. IMI caps enrolment at 300 students a year, drawn from more than 35 nationalities, and teaches in classes of five to fifteen. Every student completes a 22-week paid internship each academic year. The school runs its own four-star training hotel, the Hotel Seeburg.
