ELA Basel is a bilingual international school founded in 1993, teaching children from three months to eighteen years across the early years, primary and secondary stages. It follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and then the Cambridge pathway from Key Stage 1 to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), after which students choose between a Cambridge International stream and a Swiss International bilingual stream. Around 360 children from 35 countries attend, taught by about 90 staff. The school is a not-for-profit association, accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education and a member of COBIS and the Swiss Group of International Schools.
