La Nave is a private day school at Bühlstrasse in Buchs, in the St. Gallen Rhine valley, opened in April 2010. It takes children from six months in the Wurzelstufe, then the Basisstufe for the pre-school years, a primary stage for ages eight to twelve and a lower-secondary stage. Alongside the classroom the school runs Brütwerk, a workshop for making and inventing, and a riding-based education programme. It has been a UNESCO associated school since it opened and won the Swiss School Prize in 2013.
