About the School
The École Hôtelière de Genève is a private hospitality school on Avenue de la Paix, opposite the Palais des Nations. It awards a Diplôme École Supérieure in hotel management and post-diploma qualifications at the same level. Around 300 students attend and teaching is in French. Fees run from CHF 61,285 to CHF 75,705. It was founded in 1914 in Neuchâtel by Gastrosuisse as the École des cafetiers-restaurateurs, moved to Geneva in 1951 and took its present name and École Supérieure status in 1996; it describes itself as one of the very first hotel schools in the world. It is a non-profit institution, wholly Swiss-owned, eduQua certified, and a member of the Association Genevoise des Écoles Privées.
