Brillantmont International School is a boarding and day school in Lausanne, a few minutes from the city centre, for students in Grades 8 to 13. It is the oldest Swiss boarding school to have been owned and run continuously by the same family since its founding in 1882, now in its fifth generation. Around 80 to 90 students attend. The school teaches the British curriculum, with IGCSEs followed by A Levels, and also offers a United States High School Diploma; it describes itself as the only school in the Lausanne area to offer both. A thirteenth-grade gap year is available. Brillantmont is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
