Professional Maturity
The Professional Maturity (Berufsmaturität/BMS) is a Swiss qualification that complements vocational education and training (VET). It can be obtained alongside an apprenticeship (BMS 1) or after completing a VET diploma (BMS 2). The BMS provides direct access to Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen) and, with a supplementary exam (Passerelle), to Swiss universities and ETH/EPFL.
